With the telescopic length deployed, the truck crane is already a considerable size, and can be extended with an additional boom. With the crane arm fully erected and raised, the crane measures 1.30 m in height, outstripping some of the smaller, budding builders. Given the size of the machine, it needs to be very stable.
Pivoting supports, which can be adjusted separately from the vehicle platform, ensure high stability against tipping. For even greater stability, the counterweight can be used as on the original crane. To ensure sufficient weight, the model can also be filled with sand. The winch with locking device and overload protection enables easy handling of the crane hook when lifting and lowering, even for large parts. As with the original, the driver's cab features a protective glass frame and sliding door that opens. A tool compartment integrated into the platform completes the crane's many functions. The new Scania Super R cab features opening doors and folding exterior mirrors. The BRUDER sound and light module is also included for even more playtime fun.
