Since Hesston designed and launched the first large square baler in 1978, we've been helping hay professionals produce the highest quality, most nutritious and most profitable hay possible. The Hesston LB2200 series continues this tradition as our most reliable and productive baler to date.

Pick-up and transport

The Hesston LB2200 series pick-up features a new five-tine pick-up roller and a lighter casing made from tough polypropylene. This new design delivers faster ground speed, enhanced performance and smoother operation.

Denser bales thanks to precompression

The Hesston LB2200 series preforms each flake in a pre-compression chamber before transferring it to the plunger to create dense, homogeneous bales.

Automatic Knotter Lubrication

The knotters are constantly lubricated by an oil-based autolube system, reducing maintenance time. The cycle is fully automatic and controlled by the Datatronic 5 terminal.

The Hesston LB2200 series optimizes capacity by removing the crop from the pick-up with rotating compaction forks and efficiently conveying it to the pre-compression chamber.
