The new series MF 3 Specialized is the ideal partner for specialist crop growers looking for a simple, reliable, powerful and fuel-efficient tractor capable of tackling a wide range of tasks efficiently and with low running costs.
This range of high-performance tractors combines comfort and ease of use, and includes a new 120hp flagship model that delivers the power needed for the most demanding tasks. A new ‘Eco’ 30AV/15AR transmission, with Powershuttle and Speedshift, offers a wide choice of speeds to suit all operations. With a top speed of 40 km/h at low revs, they are fuel-efficient and quieter for optimum operator comfort.
With the introduction of the specialist tractor range MF 3, Massey Ferguson continues to roll out its new neo-retro design, first seen on the MF 8S series, with its emblematic grey «Sabre» stripe and diamond-grey cab.
For maximum versatility, Massey Ferguson offers six versions with five models ranges, from 75 hp to 120 hp, with numerous options to customize your MF tractor to suit your needs.
Performance
The new Stage V, 4-cylinder, 3.6-liter engine now generates 85 hp, rising to 120 hp for new models, and offers the performance needed to power the most demanding tools. With its perfectly matched engine/transmission combination and robust transmission, the MF 3 is the ideal partner for maximum productivity. The 75 hp models retain the 4-cylinder, 3.4-liter engine, which now complies with Stage V regulations.
Handling
With optimum visibility and maneuverability, the MF 3 Specialized Series ensures that you can work in the best possible conditions. Short turning radius, curved chassis and automatic four-wheel drive make maneuvering a breeze. A large glass surface provides exceptional all-round visibility. Up to eight LED lights make night work easier, while efficient demisting and electrically defrosting mirrors help you get an early start in the morning.
Transmission options for specialized applications
There's no need to compromise when looking for the ideal speed. Thanks to the Powershuttle 30 x 15 transmission available on models over 75 hp, farmers can easily adjust their speed to suit the intended application, while still achieving the most efficient engine speeds.
EASY TO USE
MF 3 specialist tractors benefit from ergonomically positioned controls that are simple to use, and technologies derived from Massey Ferguson's standard tractor ranges. These include advanced transmission operation with Powershuttle shuttle and Speedshift doubler. In the Efficient version, the single multifunction joystick controls both transmission and hydraulics, while a separate exclusive electro-hydraulic joystick is available as an option for setting the tilt and offset of the electronic hitch.
MF 3GE
The low-profile MF 3GE is particularly suited to working under trees, in plastic tunnels and in covered vineyards. Capable of operating in row widths from 87 to 98 inches, its remarkably compact dimensions enable the tractor to pass between plants without risking damage to delicate foliage and fruit grown in closely spaced rows. With its low center of gravity, this 115 cm-wide tractor offers excellent stability. The comfortable platform, equipped with easy-to-use controls and a folding rollbar, offers excellent access to buildings, trees and vines.
MF 3VI
With a width of 39.4 cm, the MF 3VI Vineyard is ideal for working in traditionally narrow vineyards. Exceptionally compact yet powerful, it is specially designed to work in high-value crops, capable of carefully negotiating close rows without risk of damaging delicate foliage and fruit. At the same time, it features a spacious cab, offering the high levels of comfort and control needed for long working hours in extreme weather conditions.
MF 3SP
At 51.2 inches wide, the specialized MF 3SP, with a slightly wider chassis and a more spacious cab for the operator, is perfect for more open vineyards. The tractor offers the right dimensions and power for efficient operation in modern vineyards producing high-yield, high-value crops, while remaining narrow enough to pass between plants without the risk of damaging them.
