Woody side trimmers are mounted on a 3-point hitch, the front and cross frames are made only with Hss 50W 1/4, the mower is made only with 50W 3/16 and 1/4 plate.
With its robust design, it can be used to cut different types of material, such as bushes, shrubs and small trees up to 3' in diameter.
Woody's side-mounted brushcutters are equipped with a proven and efficient mechanical system: two category 50 P.T.O. with a clutch integrated in the right places on one of them to protect the system, a 60hp gearbox with a ratio of 1 to 1.5, a second 55hp gearbox with a ratio of 1 to 1.12. They are fitted with a rotating plate with a knife pivoting at each end of the plate to lighten the workload of the clutch. On their front frames, Woody brushcutters are equipped with a double hinged frame to prevent twisting of the transverse frame in the event of a collision with a tree or the like (the latter is not available for the 5′ model).
The Woody brushcutter comes with an optional rear anti-splash curtain made from 3/8" chain to stop or slow down debris considerably.
Woody side trimmers are equipped with a safe hydraulic system: a single-action hydraulic lifting system, a ball valve on the lifting system for safe maintenance, a hydraulic telescope to extend the maximum cutting range (optional), and a hydraulic pivot to position the mower at the right level or angle.
Compared with other brushcutter systems, the Woody produces small pieces of debris, making it highly efficient for maintaining large areas, ideal for clearing the edges of agricultural fields and forestry roads.
